The
Good Time Lounge is a cash bar. What does that mean? We well gladly
except your cash for transactions at the bar and the door. We also except
MasterCard, Visa and Discover. You may receive cash off of your card, or run a
tab.
How do I run a tab? Setting up
and running a tab at GTs is simple. Give the bartender your card and he/she will
gladly set it up. We hold the card until the end of your evening. Only you are
allowed to purchase on your tab - others in your party may not order from the
bar and say “Put It on so-n-so.” (This is for your protection as well as ours.)
What is the Membership?
The state of Texas requires memberships of all customers of the Good Time
Lounge. When you enter the club, your ask to fill out an application for review
by the Membership Committee.
You must have a membership to consume alcohol in a Mixed Beverage Establishment.
Larger cities usually have “wet” areas allowing for open saloon sales. In
Grayson County, the only wet area is a community called Knollwood. Everywhere
else must have memberships.
The Management of The Good Time Lounge requires everyone entering to have a
membership whether planning to drink alcohol or not.
How long is Membership valid?
We call our memberships “One-Year Memberships, but that’s only really true on
December 11th. We expire all memberships on December 11th as our license is
expired. This is just our way of minimizing paperwork for us.
What is a Charter
(Lifetime) Member? Our liquor license requires 50 Charter Members.
This are individuals that frequent the club and usually are Long time Customers.
It’s simply a legal term and requirement. We do not charge Charter Members for
Membership renewal.

What is the age requirements?
The Good Time Lounge is 18+. Of course you must be 21 to consume alcohol. NO
UNDERAGE DRINKING IS EVER ALLOWED!
Why are you so mean to minors?
Because of the unique nature of our venue, we’ve insisted on maintaining the 18+
policy. We must be very strict with our minors. It’s nothing personal. We were
all at that age, and we just don’t trust most of you…
Texas state law (all 50 US states really) prohibits consumption of alcohol by
individuals under the age of 21. Besides the morale aspects, legal consequences
of serving a minor or contributing to the delinquency of a minor are harsher
than ever. If there is a person in your party that has not reached age of
majority and is intent on drinking you should be aware that not only will you be
ask to leave when caught, you may find yourself in some legal trouble. As a
adult, you should familiarize yourself these legal consequences. Get the

How do I get a booking? We’re always looking for new talent
whatever that may be. Our drag show are put together by a “host” that is given a
particular budget and responsible for lining up performers, work with Mgmt on
promotion and act as a show director. KaDee Skyy is the current host for our
Friday Night Shows and can be found on face book. If you have an event idea and
would like to “host” then the best way to reach someone is via e-mail. Have
proposed photos, bios and consept together and send to:

Can you recommend
transportation? We’ve had very good luck and service from the area
cab services and recommend all of them. Here is their names and numbers in

Are there
any other “gay” meeting places in the area? The simple answer is
no. Of course there are cruising areas and parks, but for the safety of our
customers, we’ve decided not to list this places. And a word of warning; even
though the Texas State Sodomy Law (21.06) has been repealed, lewdness is still a
criminal offense both in Texas and Oklahoma
